Abstract :
The job sector that is said to be related to the MSD problem is those who work as police officers. Studies on the prevalence rate of MSD are still not carried out in Malaysia, therefore the awareness of the effects and consequences of MSD is not well known. This study aims to examine the prevalence and gender differences in MSD among traffic police officers. This study was conducted using a cross-sectional design through a survey method using a questionnaire. A total of 262 respondents participated in this study among traffic police officers and members who carry out traffic control duties. The MSD prevalence rate for traffic policemen in the last 6 months was 96.6% with 83.6% of male traffic policemen and 13% of female policemen. The study found no significant relationship (p >.05) between the MSD prevalence rate and gender. The prevalence level for pain in the body part is 26.3% (N=69) in the neck/shoulder part, 14.5% (N=38) in the hand/finger part, 16.8% (N=44) in the arm, 30.1% (N=79 ) in the mid to lower back and 29% (N=76) in the hips/back, calves/legs. Therefore, this study is expected to provide information on the MSD prevalence rate among traffic police members as a reference to improve the level of health in their work.

Abstract :
This study aims to examine the interaction between predictive factors (risk factors) such as individual factors, physical factors, psychosocial factors, workload and mental health that contribute to musculoskeletal discomfort among traffic police members in Sabah. This study was conducted using a cross-sectional design through a survey method using a questionnaire. A total of 262 respondents participated in this study among traffic police officers and members who carry out traffic control duties. The findings of the study found that there is a significant relationship between predictive factors and MSD among traffic police members, namely physical factors (r = .394; k < .01), workload (r = .427; k < .01), psychosocial factors ( r = .499; k < .01), mental health (r = .447; k < .01) and individual factors (r = .014; k < .01). Studies on MSDs among traffic police officers show that there is a need to not only study risk factors but also to develop interventions to minimize MSDs in the policing profession.

Abstract :
The issue of a person's leadership influence is frequently debated and linked to the attainment of success or benchmarks for some organisations or themselves. Many parties are interested in this issue because Malaysia is a developing country that requires leaders to ensure success is always at an optimal level. As a result, a study was conducted to investigate the impact of leadership on workplace safety and quality among employees in Malaysia's public and private sectors. Respondent information was gathered using research tools such as the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ), and The Occupational Safety and Health Monitoring and Assessment Tool (OSH-MAT), which were distributed via a Google Form questionnaire. The researcher used a random sampling technique to collect information from 150 Malaysian public and private sector workers. According to the results of the regression analysis's inference statistics, both dependent variables are significant and have a linear relationship with the influence of leadership. Regression analysis of the influence of leadership on the quality of work produced by employees at work is positive and significant (F(1,148) = 41.263, p < .05). Regression coefficient (.467, p.05). While the regression analysis for leadership's influence on employee safety at work is negative and significant (F(1,148) = 3.428, p >.05). Regression coefficient (ß = -.150, p > .05). In conclusion, the influence of leadership has a very strong impact on the quality of work produced by employees at work and the safety of employees at work in the public and private sectors in Malaysia.

Abstract :
The COVID-19 pandemic is indeed able to affect the physical and mental health of employees. However, there is still less research related to the relationship between stress and work engagement on employee performance based on the context of this pandemic. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the influence of work stress and work engagement on work performance among public sector workers in Malaysia during the pandemic season. The study data was collected through a quantitative survey approach and the study sample consisted of 150 eligible respondents selected through the snowball sampling method. These three variables were measured using three instruments namely Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), and Individual Work Performance Scale (IWPS) and they were distributed online through a link of Google Form. The data collected will be analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics Version 28.0 software system. A simple linear regression analysis found that work pressure has a significant and negative relationship with the work performance of public sector employees while work engagement has a significant and positive relationship with the work performance of public sector employees. The results of multiple regression analysis also prove that there is a positive and significant relationship between enthusiasm and task performance. Therefore, this proves that work performance depends on the stress and engagment of employees towards their work. Enthusiasm obtained from people around also contributes to individual work performance. This study is very important for future researchers to identify the causes of work performance deterioration based on stress factors and work engagement.
